Taking place this weekend 1 / 2 June 2019, as part of the Trophee de France E-VTT Enduro at Privas, France in collaboration with the FFM, the inaugural FIM E-Bike Enduro World Cup will mark a special moment. With entries open right up until the start of the event, this is the last chance for competitors to take their place on the starting line and be part of this important two-wheel sporting piece of history.
The 2019 FIM E-Bike Enduro World Cup will include two categories:
Enduro1 (E1): E-Bike equipped with a motor with a maximum rated continuous power of more than 250W and whose assistance can exceed 25 km/h without exceeding 45 km/h. Minimum age of riders - 15 years old.
Enduro2 (E2): E-Bike equipped with a motor with a maximum rated continuous power of 250W and whose assistance does not exceed 25 km/h. Minimum age of riders - 14 years old.
The format of the 2019 FIM E-Bike Enduro World Cup will be as follows:
Saturday 1 June - Administrative and Technical Control / Urban prologue in the centre of the city.
Sunday 2 June - Administrative and Technical Control / Main race in the surrounding hills.
The main race will include 3 laps of approximately 25km per lap – comprising of the liaison route that will link the 3 special tests, that will vary in length. These will be located in a nearby forest and will incorporate the local rocky terrain that will present its own technical challenges. Overall the course will look to test the E-Bikes’ technology plus physical condition and skills of the riders.
