Denmark’s Michael Jepsen Jensen took the lead in the Under 21 series with a superior performance to win in Round 3 on a rain-affected track at Coventry scoring an unbeaten 15 points. Jensen seemed untroubled by the wet conditions recording the first maximum of this year’s series and now has a three point cushion ahead of his nearest rivals, fellow countryman Mikkel B. Jensen and current champion Maciej Janowski.
Australian Sam Masters who missed the first round in Italy scored 10 points as did Wild Card Kyle Newman to cheer the local fans. The track caused problems for some riders however and there were 12 falls during the evening, thankfully without serious injury.

There is a month’s break before the competition moves to Poland where Round 4 will be held in Tarnow on 15th September and competitors and Officials will be hoping for better support from the weather gods.
