The opening round of the 2015 FIM X-Trial World Championship which will take place tonight at Sheffield, Great Britain will see the new Spanish manufacturer Vertigo makes it debut in the series. British rider James Dabill – Vertigo having recently joined the newly formed team will give the brand its first competitive outing in front of a massive home crowd.
Dabill who finished fourth in last year’s FIM X-Trial World Championship has spent most of the last month testing and training in Spain ready for tonight’s debut and spoke positively ahead of the big occasion. “I want to start by saying that I am very excited, and also very proud to be given the chance to ride the new Vertigo Combat for the first time here tonight.”
“Of course there is some extra pressure, there always is when you ride here at Sheffield in front of your home fans, but like in previous years I will just try to do my best and to put a smile of the faces of the people are here to support me. Although I have only had limited time on the new bike I already have a good feeling and hope I can make a good result tonight.”
