The FIM would like to express its sadness at the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who was the Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms since 1952 until her death last Thursday 8 September. Held close to the hearts and also in high esteem by the people of Great Britain during her seventy-year reign, Queen Elizabeth II was respected throughout the World including by a wide motorcycling community.
The FIM would like to offer its condolences to the Royal Family and our affiliated national federations in the Commonwealth – namely those in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom at this time of grief.
The FIM will continue to ensure that the memory of Queen Elizabeth II is honoured and upheld in the appropriate manner at all forthcoming events and on relevant occasions.
