Toseland hopes to see Kawasaki race

James Toseland is hopeful Kawasaki will have a satellite team in the FIM MotoGP World Championship and hopes to see John Hopkins and Marco Melandri in action in the 2009 campaign.

The Tech 3 Yamaha rider hopes a privateer team will step in to use Kawasaki machinery and also hire both riders.

Toseland said: "Kawasaki have given the release for a private team to run a package, similar to the Honda situation in Formula One.
