Now that Germany has already announced its complete team for the world premiere of the FIM FREESTYLE OF NATIONS in the Veltins Arena on 31 May 2014, France, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic are following suit. Not all the teams are definite at the moment, but it is now clear that an absolute top star on the FMX scene from each of the nations will be coming up to the starting line. The NIGHT of the JUMPS series, to find the individual world champion, is not yet over, but three of the most successful Freestyle Motorcross nations are already well prepared when it comes to participating in the World Championship of Nations. Ahead of them all comes the Czech Republic, who are putting Libor Podmol – world champion of 2010 and five-times world-champion runner-up – into the race. An absolute favourite with the public, Podmol has already scored Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Highest Air Competition at the X Games in 2013, and in the current individual world championship he is just one point behind the leader. And that is the Frenchman David Rinaldo. This top rider, just 23 years old, has been picked for the French team in the World Championship of Nations at the Schalke Arena. As has Dany Torres from Spain, who had to miss the current world championship title competition due to out-time through injury. The Red Bull athlete is regarded internationally as one of the most successful riders, and won the Red Bull X Fighters series in 2011. All of which will make some very tough competition for the German team, consisting of Hannes and Luc Ackermann, Lukas Weis and Kai Haase. It is obvious, too, that France, the Czech Republic and Spain will not complete their teams with "greenhorns." And, considering the participants who have been nominated up to now, the remaining nations will find themselves very much on the spot when it comes to putting up their teams. The FIM FREESTYLE OF NATIONS will take place on 31 May 2014 in the VELTINS Arena. Tickets are already available from € 29.90; children under twelve can get in for € 19.90.
