The FIM is saddened to hear of the death of former Polish Champion and international rider Tomasz Jędrzejak who has died at his home in Wroclaw aged 39.
Polish Under 21 Team Champion in 2000 and Individual Champion in 2012, he was a solid rider in the Extraleague most notably with the Wroclaw club where he spent twelve years. He also rode in Sweden and Britain. Most recently he had been a leading figure in the revival of the 2nd Division Stal Rzeszow club where as recently as last Sunday he scored 11 points to maintain the club’s promotion drive.
Universally popular, Tomek was a private man who avoided publicity and enjoyed his family life. His death has been a shock to the speedway fraternity and FIM sends its condolences to his wife and family as well as his many friends and fans.
