Free practice got underway in blistering sunshine at the Grobnik circuit. Tim Reeves and Ashley Hawes on their “Relocator” LCR Suzuki set fastest lap time of 1:33.975 ahead of Team Suzuki Finland’s Pekka Paivarinta and Adolf Hanni. Markus Schlosser and Thomas Hofer, Team Schlosser, LCR Suzuki finished the session in third place, Jorg Steinhausen and Gregory Cluze, on their Steinhausen Racing LCR BMW took fourth position.
All teams were really getting their machines set up for a tough weekend’s racing, with two qualifying sessions and a 10 lap sprint race tomorrow, followed by warm up and a 18 lap Gold race on Sunday.
