The Final goes to Croatia!


The Final of the 2009 FIM Speedway U21 World Championship will be held on the Croatian „Millenium Stadium“ on the 3rd of October. Donji Kraljevec is the destination of many speedway fans all over Europe, as there will be riders from 9 European countries competing. The 305 m long track offers passing and great racing, so a tough final for youngsters between the ages of 16 and 21 are expected.

Practice will be held the day before, as the race is scheduled on Saturday at 15:00 h, so the riders would have time to relax and prepare themselves for the most important race of their season – the big final.

An attendance of a couple of thousand people is expected to support their favourite riders. The local hero Jurica Pavlic has a tought job on his hands – to satisfy the expectations of all of his fans and win the championship. Will he manage to win the title in Croatia, or will there be some other national anthem playing at the end of the day – find out on October 3rd.
