The four Under 21 Speedway squads of Ukraine, Russia and Czech Republic will battle in Balakovo Trud Stadium in order to reach the highest place on the Rostrum. These teams went trough the qualifying tournament and now are pleased to reach the 2011 FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship stage in Russia. According to their ranking, the Czech Republic and Ukrainian squads were seeded in the last minutes after the very late withdrawal of the Swedish and Australian National Teams The Russian SGP rider Artem Laguta who has recovered from his last wrist injury has joined the Russian squad led by Andrey Kudriashov. The actual Russian Under individual champion is also present in a strong hosting team. Oleg Volokov declares” Today the Russian team has a big chance to win so we must use it at 100 percent. The composition of the Russian team was not easy to make because there was a huge competition between all the Russian Under 21 riders here in Russia. We have a strong squad and we expect to reach the highest step of the rostrum. Team Russia (Red)

It is sure that the Russian and Danish will make the show in order to win the title, but we will make all we can do for it too! Aleksandr Loktaev is the most experienced rider we have because he races in 3 different leagues in Denmark, Poland and Ukraine, so he is a strong card is our game. 5- Stanislav Melnichuk
Anders Secher, Danish Team manager declares: “it is a very open meeting; I am surprised to see the Czech, Russian and Ukrainian teams to be that fast during their practice yesterday. The Russian would certainly have an advantage as host, but the form of the Danish boys is increasing and I hope that Michael J. Jepsen, Mikkel Michelssen and Mikkel B Jensen will race as the same level as they raced in Holsted (Denmark) during the Under 21 individual Final 2 last week. The big question is if Rene Bach can do better than Holsted, he was a top scorer last year for the Danish team when we won the title. Another big question is if Jonas B. Andersen can perform like he used to on the club bike that Balakovo Club so generously have provide us. I think that the Russian has a big chance of winning and we will do anything we can do to avoid it.” Team Denmark (Yellow)
