Works have been started to host the 2016 edition of the FIM SuperMoto of Nations at International Circuit of Alcarras that will be the venue for the event originally scheduled at Barcelona but because of difficult issues the organiser was forced to renounce.
BPROM in cooperation with Alcarras Circuit, Federació Catalana de Motociclisme, Real Federación Motociclista Española and local authorities has replaced immediately the venue with one more suitable to host a Supermoto event because less fast, more technical and with a better off-road section.
International Alcarras Circuit is located in Lleida district in Catalunja Comunidad, 150 km far from Barcelona, is an important multi-purpose structure with a motorcycling track, a supermotard track of 1.417 metres (1.017 asphalt and 400 off-road) and a Flat Track circuit with facilities, restaurants and swimming pool.
