Stéphane Desprez departs as CEO of the FIM

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) announces the departure of FIM CEO Stéphane Desprez at the end of this year after two years in the role.

FIM President Vito Ippolito said: “We were delighted to have Stéphane as CEO and while we have had some differences in our vision and approach over the past few weeks, I am sorry to see him leave. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stéphane on behalf of the FIM for all his hard work and commitment to our sport and to wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

In his address to the FIM staff, Stéphane Desprez said that he was pleased to have served the FIM under Vito Ippolito as President. “I would like to thank the Board of the FIM for their support and assistance during my time as CEO and the wonderful FIM staff for their dedication and efforts. I have enjoyed working in such a complex environment”.
