Preparations of the World Motocross Championship round in Senkvice are culminating not only on the track. The only Slovakian WMX rider, Miriama Zavacka, was interviewed on the JOJ TV, in close cooperation with Youthstream, yesterday. The JOJ TV is one of the most watched TV channels in Slovakia.
Miriama comes from the city of Poprad, located under High Tatras, the biggest mountains in Slovakia. Her first experience with motocross racing came from regional competition. She has started to ride among boys in 85cc class a few years ago. This year she is competing on her Honda CRF 250 in Cassovia Cup in Slovakia, where female riders have their own category. Miriama is one of the best female riders in Slovakia, so she got the chance to take part in this round of World Motocross Championship.
The above mentioned TV interview was seen by a broad audience. Miriama was talking about her motocross career starting from the first touches with a motorbike, through her first competition to her participation in the WMX round in Senkvice in the coming weekend. She wants to achieve the best possible result, though she is aware that it will be very hard to keep the pace with much more experienced girls. Nevertheless, she is ready to fight.
