Simoncelli sets the pace

Marco Simoncelli, the FIM 250cc World Champion, was quickest in the pre-season test at Valencia in Spain.

The Metis Gilera rider set a fastest time over the two days in Spain of one minute 36.4 seconds as he edged out team-mate Roberto Locatelli.

The 125cc class was topped by Lorenzo Savadori on the Fontana Racing Aprilia ahead of Pol Espargaro on the Belson Aprilia.
