Sardegna Rally Race: a new “boom” of enrolments?

So many ways to say Sardegna. It seems that the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean is the most popular destination in June. Unless ... Unless you are talking about Sardegna Rally Race, the Italian stage of the Rally-Raid World Championship that is scheduled from June the 6th to June, the 11th.

The Rally organized by Bike Village seems to have gained the role of an "upside down" Babel, with a view to bring together participants from all over the world and to be launched towards a new record of approval.
 
This is the fact: at the end of the first enrolment "deadline" that was scheduled on March, the 15th, the number of Riders who have joined the 8th edition of Bike Village Rally had got a stunning increase, reaching an "unprecedented" number. The growth in terms of membership is about 220%, an hyperbolic value that even Porsche in the best year of his career could not dream.

Maybe we could say that at the start of the 2015 Cross-Country Rally season, riders have thought of the sole European stage of the World Championship, rather than think about the first round of the World competition.
 
Bike Village also dwells on another fact representing quality. Over 40% of riders who have joined at the end of the first phase are new names. They are Riders joining for the first time both the World Championship and the Sardegna Rally Race. Given that the "bigs" may "traditionally" afford to enrol even at the last moment, Bike Village likes this fact because it is a factor that indicates quality and not only quantity. The founders of Bike Village and inventors of the Sardegna Rally Race, Antonello Chiara and Gianrenzo Bazzu, are very interested in this kind of features.
 
Where does the sudden growth of the Italian stage of the World Championship come from? From the fact that a larger number of Riders have realized that the already low cost of enrolment is even more unbeatable if faced in advance? It is certainly possible, but it is not enough to explain such a huge hike. Does it come from the fact that the numbers of riders from South America is rising? May it depends on the fact that Sardegna Rally Race hosts the Dakar Challenge? Sure, but at the end of the first deadline the great challenge of the Dakar had just been announced.
 
No, certainly we are still talking about "quality". The Rally organized by Bike Village is first of all Sardinia: a broken line of five stages connecting five corners of Paradise.  "SRR" means quality in terms of routes and of navigation, it means technical test made of thousand variables, it is a fascinating event from all points of view, considering both racing and geographical aspect. This year, in addition to a new astonishing path, the organizers have decided to give to families, to friends, to sponsors and to supporters, a touristic road book, in order to deepen the knowledge of the most beautiful island of the Mediterranean at the same time of the most beautiful event of the World Championship Rally-Raid!
