Stiggy Motorsport Honda rider Roberto Rolfo looks set to take his place at the opening round of the World Superbike Championship in Australia on March 1 after discovering he does not need immediate shoulder surgery.
Rolfo dislocated his right shoulder after falling from his CBR during the pre-season test at Portimao in Portugal and has been told he will only need regular treatment and therapy to strengthen the shoulder muscles.
He will need surgery at the end of the season.
