Monster Energy Yamaha’s Joel Roelants will travel to the Sevlievo circuit for the Grand Prix of Bulgaria today after making sufficient recovery steps this week and being given the all-clear by doctors to attempt round five of the FIM Motocross World Championship. The Belgian fell during practice for the Trentino Grand Prix last Saturday and needed a few days to recuperate after knocking his shoulder and head. Roelants was able to spend valuable time on the mend and will now steer his factory YZ450FM across the Sevlievo hills. “It is good to have the OK from the doctor. My shoulder is a bit sore but I feel better compared to last weekend and we will see what we can do at Sevlievo.” Team-mate Steven Frossard is still on the sidelines as the Frenchman convalesces from recent surgery on his left foot and plans to be back in action for the Grand Prix of Portugal on May 5th.
