WorldSBK is back to Most, Czech Republic

After more twists in the title race at Donington, WorldSBK heads to the Autodrom Most with the Championship battle hotting up
WorldSBK returns to the Autodrom Most for the second time as the Czech circuit hosted the event back in 2021.

The 2022 Czech Round will see Prosecco DOC as its Event Main Sponsor and the event will be taking place on July 29th-31st.

The Italian wine consortium has been an Official Sponsor of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship since 2013, with the renowned beverage is sprayed after every podium celebration.

Alvaro Bautista
“I never ride in Most with Ducati, but I think last year Redding was quite fast there last year. The layout seems nice, and I hope to enjoy the track. But I don’t expect anything, we’ll start to work on Friday to try to find the best setup, the best feeling. We also have to see how the new asphalt is, as they resurfaced some part of the track, how will the tyre consumption be because I think Pirelli will bring different tyre options from the standards.”

Jonathan Rea
I’m excited to go to Most. I’ve got some unfinished business there because last year was quite disappointing. It was a tough weekend for me and the bike. But it was the first time we ever visited the track so this year we’ll have some data. I know that they have resurfaced some part of the circuit, so they’ve been working hard. It’s a fun track. Like in Estoril, the first time I visited Estoril wasn’t so good and the next time we came back, we won some races. So that would be incredible if we could return to Most and win some races before the summer break. The Championship is now really close.

Toprak Razgatlioglu
In Most, Ducati is usually very strong, Rea will be fast, but we’ll keep fighting for the victory. I like the track. There will be some parts with a new asphalt so we will see. We’re not looking at the Championship yet and I’m just looking race by race.
