Reeves and Cluze Top Timesheets in Q1


Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze topped the timesheets in qualifying one at the Pannonia Ring Hungary this morning.  They set a time of 1:58.120 on their “Team E-Aide Motorsport/Remse Racing” LCR, Kawasaki.  Reeves and Cluze left pit lane and there was no doubt what they wanted to do, set the fastest time. The team came back to pit lane after a good run on their machine, but it was found that the sidecar wheel had a puncture.  This changed, they took to the track again, with two slow laps to get a clear track, they went for it, all was good, and the time was set.

With a time of 1:59.895 Pekka Paivarinta and Kirsi Kainulainen on their “44-Racing” LCR, BMW, set the second fastest time.  The team did not go out on track at the beginning of qualifying, but when they did, they got down to business, setting good lap times lap after lap.  Both were happy with how things went and hope to have a good Q2. Bennie Streuer and Geert Koerts on their “Streuer Racing” LCR, Suzuki set the third fastest time of 2:00.983. The team were happy with the morning session, and hope to improve in the second session, they are really happy with their machine, they will do some checks before the next session.

Uwe Gürck and Manfred Wechselberger with their “Polizei Sport Verein Wels/Gürck Racing” LCR, BMW set the fourth fastest time. A time of 2:01.142. They are really happy with their machine, and hope to improve this time in the second session. Mike Roscher and Anna Burkard set the fifth fastest time of 2:04.160 on their “Roscher- Burkard-Penz 13 Racing” LCR, BMW. The pair were consistent with their lap times this morning, with no problems with their machine they hope to set a better time in Q2.
