The Japanese are also interested in electric competition. Prozza Team, first to design a machine "zero emissions" in Japan, have presented their electric motorcycle during in the opening stages of Suzuka 8 Hours.
Created by Prostaff, a Japanese company which makes electric scooters, Team Prozza is present in TTXGP since June and took part in the race Zero TT on the Isle of Man.
Yoshinari Matsushita, rider and journalist, is riding the Prozza motorcycle, a 178 kg machine equipped by four battery packs.
