Herve Poncharal is happy with the switch to a single tyre supplier for the 2009 FIM MotoGP World Championship even after seeing rider James Toseland suffered a heavy crash during pre-season testing at Sepang in Malaysia.
The Tech 3 Yamaha boss saw Toseland have a 200mph highside after he failed to warm up the tyres properly on his Yamaha M1 and also had Colin Edwards suffering neck pain when he aggravated an old injury.
But Poncheral did not share the reservations of other teams and riders after making the switch to use Bridgestone tyres.
