Pignotti back on world scene

Italian Attilio Pignotti is to return to the FIM Supermoto World Championship after agreeing to race for the Nastedo Team on a Kawasaki SM 450F-R.

Pignotti, runner-up in the S2 class in 2007, had quit the world championship scene in 2008 but has now decided to return.

Pignotti was contacted by the Nastedo Team and after a test at the Pomposa track in Italy he agreed to race the remainder of the world championship season.

His next race will be at the following round of the world championship during the Grand Prix of Europe at Latina in Italy on September 6.
