It is with great sadness that we write to inform about the recent passing of FIM member Pedro Venturo Markoch.
Pedro was a former President of the Peruvian Motorcycle Federation during the 90s, also the President of the ULM from 1999-2002 and 2007 to 2010 which then became FIM Latin America, under which he continued his presidency from 2011 to 2018. Pedro was a highly valued member of the global FIM family and the wider motorcycling community, particularly in his native region.
Pedro Venturo Markoch was the father of Pedro Venturo Junior, President of FIM Latin America and member of FIM Board of Directors.
The FIM extends its sincere condolences to Pedro’s family, loved ones and many friends, he will be greatly missed by all that knew him and had the pleasure and honour of working with him.
