Patrik Mikel with a wild card for Pardubice!

The second round of the FIM Speedway U21 World Championship is coming up fast. On 16 September, one day before the great final of the Speedway European Championship, the world's sixteen best juniors will be fighting it out in Pardubice (Czech Republic) for another point towards the overall classification. The organisers have given the wild card for this meeting to local rider, Patrik Mikel.
Ondrej Smetana and Josef Novak will be the reserves. It is worth mentioning that the first starting number was drawn by another representative of the host country, Eduard Krcmar. He will be competing with Bartosz Smektała, Jack Holder and Joel Andersson.

Maksym Drabik, who has been out with an injury, is also on the list. However, the decision as to whether he will take part will be made closer to the time. If he is not at the start, he will be replaced by Paweł Przedpełski.
