Paivarinta and Hanni dominate the wet and dry

The rain stopped and the track dry for the second timed session it looked like it was going to be full throttle for most teams, however the red flag came out just as the session got going with most teams just getting their tyres hot, Kurt Hock and Enrico Becker, Hock Racing, LCR Suzuki brought the flag out when passenger Enrico Becker had problems with his knee joint and had to be taken from the track by ambulance, however they managed to get back into the session when it restarted, and they start from fifth place on the grid with a time of 1:35.850. Pekka Paivarinta and Adolf Hanni, Team Suzuki Finland, LCR Suzuki set a blistering time of 1:32.536 to take pole position from Ben and Tom Birchall, Mitchells of Mansfield, LCR Yamaha, the Birchall Brothers did not have a trouble free session, they came into pit lane with fuel leaking from their machine, that turned out to be a pipe on the pressure system causing the bike to run slowly. Mike Roscher and Danny Kamerbeek, RSC-Kopack Racing LCR BMW sitting on third place of the grid with a time of 1:34.726 only 0.187 down on the Birchall Brothers. Starting from the second row in fourth is Scott Lawrie and James Neave, Lucky 2 Racing, LCR Suzuki, they struggled from half way through the session with a slipping clutch but they managed to get a good time of 1:35.119 before their problems. Starting in sixth is Gary and Daniel Knight, Redline Racing, RSR Suzuki with a time of 1:38.096 a great grid position for them, Gary and Dan both said there is still a lot of work to do to the new RSR chassis but they are very happy with the position on the grid. Seventh is Jacob Rutz and Ueli Wafler, Rutz Racing, LCR Yamaha just ahead of Milan Spendal and Peter Hill, AMD Kranj, LCR Suzuki. Starting from ninth on the grid with a time of 1:38.566 is Bennie Streuer and Kees Endeveld, Streuer Racing, LCR Suzuki, and the team of Ben Bygrave and Calum Lawson, Bygrave Racing, LCR Suzuki sitting on tenth, both Ben and Calum are happy with the position but they felt they could have done a better time if it were not for some technical problems. Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze, Tim Reeves Racing, LCR Honda, sitting fourth in the championship will have a lot to do as they start from the back of the grid due to a broken engine.
