Thirty three year Adam Raga – TRS will embark on a new chapter in his long illustrious career today when he rides the all new TRS machine competitively for the first time at the 2015 Trial des Nations at L'Hospitalet de l’Infant, Spain. After more than twenty years of riding for the now troubled Gas Gas brand, it was announced earlier this week that the two times FIM Trial World Champion and four times winner of the FIM Indoor Trial World Champion has signed a three year agreement with the new TRS brand that is the brainchild of seven times FIM Trial World Champion Jordi Tarres.
Speaking ahead of his TRS debut today Raga said. “It’s a big change for me, but I am very happy with the new situation. I am excited to be working with a new team and a new bike. We have already been working very hard to be ready for this event, which is very close to my hometown, so I hope I can ride the TRS to victory as part of the Spanish team.”
“The change of bike is something that I have perhaps needed for many years, as I am the only rider that has been his whole career with the same bike. Now with the change I find a new motivation to be able to continue at the top for some more years I hope. The bike feels really good, the frame is very stable, the rear suspension is a step forward for me, and the engine is already very powerful even at this early stage.”
