Shinya Nakano is expected to be fit to take part in the FIM Superbike World Championship round at Assen in Holland.
The Japanese rider suffered a broken collarbone at Valencia but is planning to take part in the first practice at Assen on April 24.
Aprilia's technical director Gigi Dall'Igna said of Nakano: "I spoke to him recently and he'll be back training soon.
"I'm optimistic about Assen, there aren't many days left until then, but in any case he'll be out in free practice on the Friday."
