Meet Marco Fioletti

Prior to this season Marco Fioletti – Beta was not a name that everyone knew, not even inside the FIM Trial World Championship. However the young Italian rider is now certainly making his presence felt with his current domination of the 2015 FIM 125 Trial Cup class. The eighteen-year-old has won all but one of the six counting days to date with double victories in Japan and the Czech Republic before suffering his only defeat thus far on the first day of the Swedish Grand Prix last weekend.

Marco made his debut in the FIM Trial World Championship in Japan back in 2013 where he scored point's first time out as a result of his initial twelfth place. He finished his first season in eleventh spot overall before slipping outside of the top fifteen last year due to him only appearing once in the series. However that single outing in 2014 certainly reaped its benefits with Fioletti recording his maiden win at his home GP.

Now with five more victories to his name, Marco brings a twenty-seven point lead in the general standings with him to Great Britain, and on current form looks like the rider the other challengers in the FIM 125 Trial Cup will have to beat this weekend if all goes to plan for the teenage Italian, who is certainly a potential champion in waiting.
