Magny-Cours takes Superbike award

The Magny-Cours circuit in France has been awarded the 2009 organiser award by Infront Motor Sports, rights holders of the FIM Superbike World Championship.

Magny-Cours won the 2009 World Superbike Organiser Award because it was judged the best from a promotional, logistical and sporting point of view.

Paolo Flammini, Infront Motor Sports CEO, said: "I express my warmest and most sincere congratulations to the Magny-Cours circuit management and all its staff, who have demonstrated that they fully believe in and wish to invest in our championship."

The 2009 World Superbike Media Award has been given to the Misano World Circuit in San Marino.
