The German rider has withdrawn from the final 3 of the FIM Long Track World Championship FIM in Marmande next Saturday. Currently sitting fifth in the provisional World Championship classification, Martin was injured during a speedway meeting in his British club of Birmingham. He will have to work hard to stay in the top 5 in the next finals.
This will give Theo Di Palma, the next substitute of the list, the opportunity to enter in Marmande. The 23 year old French rider participated in the 2012 FIM Long Track World Championship where he replaced Richard Speiser, another German rider. Last weekend at Zweibrücken in Germany, Speiser showed that he was able to defy the best riders and finished fourth in the international competition.
