Sustainability for the FIM is a strong pillar in our strategic actions and plans for the future. We acknowledge that is not limited to a single week - it is a continuous responsibility embedded in how we operate, innovate, and evolve in motorcycling. However, these past five years have been particularly significant, as we have launched and executed numerous impactful projects that reinforce our dedication to protecting our environment and shaping a more responsible future.
As we celebrate the fifth anniversary of FIM Sustainability Week, now aligned with United Nations World Environment Day, we take this opportunity to reflect on the progress made while strengthening our commitment to sustainability in motorcycling. From climate action initiatives and biodiversity conservation efforts to educational programmes and community-driven projects, we have demonstrated that meaningful change is possible when passion and purpose unite.
I call upon every member of our FIM Family to continue driving this momentum forward - not just this week, but every day - as we integrate sustainability into the core of motorcycling’s evolution. Together, we build a lasting legacy of responsibility and progress.
Please join us in this 2025 FIM Sustainability week from 1st to 8th June, the fifth edition.
Sincerely,
Jorge Viegas
FIM President
