Last appointment in Castelleto


No rest for the FIM SuperMoto World Championship that after last successful week-end in Austria are traveling to Italy at the completely asphalt track Motodromo Castelletto di Branduzzo that hosted the event many times in the past and where both Champions will be crowned.

The French World Champion TM Racing Thomas Chareyre arrives in Italy with 238 comfortable points, this season he won at now four Grand Prix on six so obviously he’ll focus to bring home his fifth SuperMoto World Title.

TM Degasoline Marc Reiner Schmidt has only 20 points less than Chareyre and he’ll battle with all forces to try to take his first World Title after winning the European last season.

The Austrian HUSQVARNA Hollbacher Racing Lukas Hollbacher is third in the overall standings but KTM MTR Pavel Kejmar has only 4 points less and the battle for the third position in the championship will be a close one.

Rounding up the fifth position is Spanish SUZUKI Grau rider David Gimenez who has in his first year in S1GP a good and constant season.

His teammates Jose Luis Hernandez and Marius Lita, SUZUKI Arici Sorin Traistaru, the Italian rider Gabriele Gianola - supported by his home public - and KTM MTR Lionel Deridder who was forced to stop his season due to an injury complete the current top ten of the Overall Standings.

Local riders who will attend the Lombardia Grand Prix will be Honda BRT Edgardo Borella, Yamaha Extreme Team Matteo Traversa, TM Degasoline Riccardo Lodigiani and TM Nico Grazioli.
