The last time the FIM Trial World Championship visited Kramolin was back in September 2010. Although nearly three years have passed since then, the winner on that day remains very much in contention in this year’s title race. Adam Raga – Gas Gas last victory in the Czech Republic, one of his four, came at the expense of Jeroni Fajardo – Beta who was a close runner-up on that occasion. In what was a relatively low scoring event the current and reigning champion Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa managed to snatch the last podium place. In 2010 Albert Cabestany – Sherco and Takahisa Fujinami – Repsol Montesa finished fourth and fifth respectively to complete a top five that remains familiar today. Situated one hundred and twenty kilometres south west of the capital city of Prague, the Grand Prix motocross circuit facility and surrounding wooded landscape will be home to three laps of twelve sections tomorrow, with terrain that should be ideally suited to the new no-stop rules. Having hosted Trial Grand Prix events since the series first started in 1975 the Czech Republic as it is now known, has welcome the great and good of the sport for almost four decades. Tomorrow’s event will mark the twenty-third coming over this prolonged period.
