"KiSS MotorLand" environmental program returns at the MotoGP Grand Prix of Aragón

MotorLand Aragón will launch this initiative whose objective is to raise awareness among all fans to reduce the environmental impact through various activities during the MotoGP Grand Prix.

The Alcañiz circuit will once again promote the "KiSS MotorLand" initiative this year and will continue to raise awareness among all motorcycling fans to reduce the environmental impact produced by races in terms of waste generated by the public, in work areas of the paddock of the circuit and also in the car parks that are set up during the Grand Prix. Framed within the sustainability policy of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and with its support, MotorLand Aragón joins Dorna, IRTA (Association of MotoGP Teams), Government of Aragón and the sponsors Urbaser, Diario de Teruel and Coca Cola to redevelop this activity that has given such good results on previous occasions. Within the initiative, several actions and activities will be developed, among which the planting of trees, which will be carried out with MotoGP riders, together with students from a school in Alcañiz.

Sustainable transport, distribution of "KiSS MotorLand" kits and tree planting, among other activities

This initiative will be developed in several actions during the event. As mentioned above, on the Thursday of the Grand Prix, the tree planting event will take place in Pelouse 6, one of the natural stands of the circuit, in which students from a school in Alcañiz will participate along with riders from the MotoGP World Championship. But it is not the only action, far from it.

During the event, 2500 "KiSS MotorLand" kits will be distributed on the circuit, including colored garbage bags, an informative flyer of the initiative together with environmental tips and a gift from Coca Cola to encourage recycling. In addition, during the Grand Prix, to promote more sustainable transport, a bus service will be set up that will connect the circuit with Alcañiz so that fans avoid private cars, and a bicycle parking lot will be set up for those who want to get around by bike thanks to the proximity to Alcañiz. The bus service that will run on Saturday and Sunday, as well as the night service that connects the camping areas, will be completely free.

On the other hand, thanks to one of the sponsors (Urbaser), containers and bins differentiating the type of waste will be distributed in the stands of the circuit. There will also be an oil collection in the team boxes and in the different hospitalities to be treated later.

And, finally, the Km0 product will also be promoted with the promotion of several products in different actions framed within the event. All these actions will be accompanied by messages and continuous communication during the event through the circuit screens and videos to raise awareness among fans to enjoy this Grand Prix in a sustainable way.
