Hermunen on pole


High spirit in the paddock during this Saturday qualification, first day of Estonia Grand Prix, in which the riders had to taste for the first time, the mixed track – technical and fast - of Kurressaare, where the rider capability to face the track is what makes the difference. The fine rain of this morning could not stop the huge crowd, coming from the neighboring Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Russia, to support their heroes at its best.

TM Shr Mauno Hermunen maybe helped by the fact he was one of the few riders who already knew the track, dominated since the morning during the free practice and reached the pole with the best time of 1:13.188 during the time practice. Follow him with a time of 1:13.267, APRILIA Fast Wheels Adrien Chareyre who won the second position on the row for tomorrow morning. He was consistent today and he will do his best to got his second podium tomorrow.

Finished  third in the qualifying session TM Racing Factory Team Thierry Van Den Bosch who admitted: “ I feel  happy, it is only my second race and I am becoming more familiar with the bike and, moreover, I like this circuit.” His teammate Thomas Chareyre will close the first row, the SM Champion, with the fracture of the fifth metacarpal bone, preferred driving safely, preserving his energies to give his best tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning the second row will be opened by YAMAHA Team Blot Grelier Aurelien, who feels pretty satisfied also because he is at his first FIM Supermoto World Championship, he did not take part in Capua but he is improving more and more, in fact, after only two races, he is already able to stand on the first positions.

HONDA L30 Racing Ivan Lazzarini finished sixth, he was not able to reach his goal of starting in the first row tomorrow. The Italian Champion said it is an “unusual track” and he will try his best to improve tomorrow, as well as his fellow countryman Hm Racing Christian Ravaglia

HONDA Luc1 Owatrol Sylvain Bydart could not find the right setting with his bike today and will open the third row tomorrow, followed by the Slovenian HONDA Tds Nastran Uros and by TM Sbd Unionbike Racing Giovanni Bussei who closed the top ten.

Unfortunately, today TM Shr Petr Vorlicek crashed, breaking his collarbone, while HONDA Lux Performance Massimo Beltrami fell down during the free practice. He did not break anything but he hurt his leg, so both riders will not be able to participate in the tomorrow competition.
