Leon Haslam has backed the move to bring Formula One to Donington Park as he feels it can benefit the FIM Superbike World Championship which stages a round at the Leicestershire circuit again in 2009.
F1 will be raced at Donington from 2010 when the circuit will lose its round of the FIM MotoGP World Championship.
But Haslam, who will race for the Stiggy Honda team this season, sees Donington benefiting from F1 and a resurgent World Superbike Championship both racing at the same venue.
