The World's best Trial riders are about to face two days of tough competition at the final round of the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship over a course plotted by ex World Championship contender Graham Jarvis. The thirty-seven year old is now best known for his extreme enduro exploits, but back in the late nineties and early part of this century he was a serious challenger on the World Trial tour. His credentials are clear to see, with the rider who originated from the south of England finishing as World number four on three occasions - '98/'99/'01. A British Youth Champion, Jarvis actually outshone a certain Dougie Lampkin during his early years before becoming a part of the FIM Trial World Championship back in '92. His thirty-first place at the Belgium Grand Prix was hardly an outstanding debut, but through hard-work and persistence Graham gradually established himself amongst his peers and claimed his first series points in Poland the following season. His maiden podium placing was to come in Luxembourg in '97, before he had to wait a further four seasons to record his first of five GP wins in a Trial career that came to a close in 2007. Responsible for the sections at Nord Vue back in 2009, Graham has once again been tasked with testing Bou and Co, and certainly has the experience and knowledge to create some suitably challenging hazards for this weekend's finale.
