Frossard confirmed at CLS for 2010

Steven Frossard will remain with the CLS team for his final FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship campaign in 2010.

A new one-year deal sees Frossard continue his association with the Kawasaki-backed team into a fourth season, after which the series' new age rules will see the Frenchman move on.

"Due to the age limit fixed by Youthstream in the MX2 class, 2010 will be my last season in this class and the world title will be my main goal," said Frossard, who has won two heats this season and sits fifth in the standings after 11 of 15 rounds.

"Several times in my career I fixed one goal for my last attempt in a class and it was successful. Since my first season in the GPs I've been a member of the CLS squad, and each year we made progress together.

"2009 was probably harder than expected as we made several mistakes and had some problems, but we all learned a lot and for sure we'll be better prepared for 2010 and we'll go for the world title."
