Flying Finn Joonas Kylmakorpi establish his position as the leading Longtrack rider of today by taking his second FIM World Championship crown in a hard fought conclusion to the 2011 Championship. Kylmakorpi chose to lead from the front by winning his first two races in fine style. A second place in his third ride securing the world crown for the second consecutive year. Second and third places were closely contested being decided only after the last race of the season with German Richard Spieser taking the runner up position from Dutchman Theo Pijper riding on a French Licence. The local crowd had plenty to cheer about with Stephane Tresarrieu being crowned champion of the seventh final being joined on the rostrum by Theo Pijper second and Stephan Katt third.
