The organisers of the 2018 FIM Rally 2018 recently presented their vision for the event that will be held in Kaunas in Lithuania.
In early April, three members of the FIM Touring and Leisure Commission visited the city of Kaunas in Lithuania, where the Lithuanian Motorcycling Federation (LMSF) is planning to stage the 2018 edition of the FIM Rally, one of the flagship classic events in the FIM touring calendar.
The CTL members met not only the Federation, but also the local authorities, to discuss and explain the event.
Fortunately, both the Mayor Visvaldas Matijošaičiu and the Chief of Police Remigijus Stukas are motorcycle riders, so the idea of hosting a motorcycling event was not unfamiliar territory for them.
The organiser is going to be present at the 2017 FIM Rally in Sundsvall in Sweden at the end of July this year, and the 2018 edition is also scheduled to be held also at the end of July.
The FIM, founded in 1904, is the International Federation for Motorcycling activities in both sport and beyond sport. We welcome riders of all kind of motorcycles as well as motorcyclists of both genders and all nationalities to our Touring events.
If you are a motorcyclist and you are interested in participating, please contact your national FIM member federation or their partner for touring activities.
