FIM SuperEnduro is go

The FIM is delighted to announce that it has now taken control of the management and promotion of the recently renamed FIM SuperEnduro World Championship (previously known as the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship). With its bold new logo setting the tone for this exciting series, the 2012 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship will kick off in Italy next weekend.
 
The well-established event in the city of Genoa will host the opening round of the new series on Saturday 26th November with reigning champion Tadeusz Blazusiak – KTM headlining an entry packed with real pedigree. No less than ten different nations will be represented, with a strong European contingent facing a stiff challenge from their American counterparts.
 
After a familiar start to the campaign, the 2012 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship will venture into new territory as the series moves swiftly on to Poland for the second encounter on Saturday 10th December. The venue in the city of Lodz should provide a noisy welcome for their home-grown hero Blazusiak and will bring a fresh element to the title race.
 
The imposing Olympic arena that overlooks the city of Barcelona will bring the 2012 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship to a close on Sunday 5th February, and will see the 2012 champion crowned in front of what promises to be another packed house. So whilst we must wait until then to see who will eventually claim the title, in just over a week another thrilling edition of this relatively new discipline will get underway.
