The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) is proud to announce the official launch of the FIM She Leads Mentorship Programme, a new global initiative designed to support and develop the next generation of female leaders across motorcycling and the wider sport industry.
The programme brings together experienced professionals from sport, industry and the FIM family with aspiring female riders, officials and professionals, creating meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships focused on leadership development, career guidance and personal growth.
Following strong international interest, the programme received more than fifty applications from mentors and mentees across six continents. After a careful selection process, fifteen mentor–mentee matches have been formed, representing diverse backgrounds, disciplines and regions within the global motorcycling community.
The first pilot edition of the programme will run over a six-monthjourney, during which participants will engage in structured mentoring sessions, professional development activities and knowledge exchange, supported through the Mentorloop platform.
The initiative reflects FIM’s ongoing commitment to diversity, inclusion and the long-term development of women within the sport.
Providing opportunities for mentorship and leadership development is essential to building a more inclusive and sustainable future for motorcycling. Through this programme, FIM is investing not only in individuals, but in the future of our entire sport community.
The FIM She Leads Mentorship Programme aims to:
- Empower the next generation of women in motorcycling
- Provide leadership and career guidance
- Strengthen global professional networks across the sport
- Promote diversity, equity and inclusion
- Support personal and professional growth of participants
Mentors participating in the programme are respected leaders and experts volunteering their time and experience to guide emerging talent, demonstrating the strong collaborative spirit within the FIM community.
The official programme launch marks an important milestone in the continued efforts of the FIM Women’s Commission to create opportunities, visibility and pathways for women at all levels of the sport on and off the track.
The programme will also serve as a pilot initiative, with insights helping to shape future editions and long-term development strategies for women in motorcycling worldwide.
