With the 87th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) drawing to a spectacular close at the Sachsenring race circuit in Saxony, Germany, anticipation as to what next year's event will bring has already started.
With the FIM ISDE moving south to the island of Sardinia off the west coast of Italy for 2013, the Italian Motorcycle Federation delivered their official event presentation in Germany.
The race will be hosted in the picturesque seaside town of Olbia, between September 30 and October 5, which is after the FIM Enduro World Championship has ended. Organisers are promising an event that will be demanding, but enjoyable to ride, as the course weaves its way through some of the spectacular scenery found in the north of the island. In total, competitors are expected to ride approximately 250km during each day of competition.
Commenting on the event, Olbia-Tempio Province President Fedele Sanciu confirmed, "The FIM ISDE in Sardinia will be a demanding event with five days of the race touching vast portions of our territory. I am proud of the fact that this international event will be taking place here. For us this will be an important showcase, allowing us to promote and develop our province and its excellences."
