Following the success of its inaugural edition, FIM Europe, in collaboration with the FIM and the Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI), is pleased to announce the second Conference on Motorcycle Sport Communication in Europe, scheduled to take place on Thursday, 19th February 2026, in Riccione, Italy.
The Conference will be held at the Hotel Mediterraneoin Riccione and will once again serve as a key international meeting point for European motorcycle journalists, communication professionals, press officers, media content creators, influencers and specialised media representatives involved in the motorcycle sport ecosystem.
Organised under the umbrella of FIM Europe, with the support of the FIM as the world governing body of motorcycling and in collaboration with the FMI, the event confirms its strong European and international scope, positioning itself as a reference platform for dialogue and exchange within the motorcycle sport media community.
Conceived as an open and dynamic forum, the second edition of the Conference aims to further explore how motorcycle sport is communicated, interpreted and experienced in an increasingly digital and interconnected media landscape. Building on the foundations laid by the first edition, the 2026 Conference will address key themes shaping the future of sports communication, including new storytelling formats, digital platforms and the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on journalism and content creation. Beyond formal presentations, the Conference will encourage discussion, exchange of viewpoints and professional networking, fostering meaningful connections across Europe’s motorcycle media community.
The 2026 edition will open with an institutional session hosted by FIM Europe CEO Alessandro Sambuco and FMI Secretary General Giorgia Santini. The central theme will once again be the impact of artificial intelligence on motorcycling communication, explored through workshops, case studies, and roundtable discussions. Speakers will include Leonardo Balossini (Virtual Press Officer), Alessio Santoriello (Senior Lawyer and Legal Tech Expert), Dalila Agrati (FIM Europe Press Officer), Francesco Dragonetti (FMI Press Office Manager), and Isabelle Larivière (FIM Communications Manager).
The Conference is designed to encourage dialogue and the exchange of perspectives between journalists and communication professionals from across Europe. Through presentations, shared experiences and open discussions, participants will be invited to reflect on current challenges, emerging trends and future opportunities shaping motorcycle sport communication at both European and international level.
The second Conference on Motorcycle Sport Communication in Europe further confirms FIM Europe’s commitment to supporting and strengthening communication within motorcycle sport, recognising the essential role played by journalists and media professionals in telling the stories of the sport, its protagonists and its values.
Participation is limited to 40 attendees and is open to journalists, communication professionals, press officers, media content creators, influencers, and specialised media representatives involved in the motorcycle sports ecosystem.
Registration for the Conference is now officially open and will remain available until all places are filled.
