During the 2011 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, Youthstream, FIM, Mr. Alessandro Lovati representing the Italian Motorcycling Federation and the president of Fermo Mr. Giovanni Braconi announced that Fermo will be the venue for the 2012 Grand Prix of Italy. Mr. Giuseppe Luongo, Youthstream President, was very pleased to confirm the extension of the contract with Mr. Braconi for one more year and he is also very satisfied to see that Mr. Braconi keeps on believing in our sport and also in the FIM Motocross World Championship. The Italian Grand Prix will not be the last event of the season as it has been these two previous years, in order to find more pleasant temperatures for the riders, for the public and for those who make the event happen.
