Fans are part of the plan

Happy fans is a term we use when we refer to the spectators of motorcycle sport.  I used to say, that we are lucky working with the happy side of life and that inside our competitions we must take advantage of this suitable atmosphere to inspire spectators.

Sustainable programmes like KiSS Navara are becoming more popular in motorcycling events and are a good vehicle for educating spectators on various issues; however, the participants, the riders, play a major role by leading by example.

A sustainable event should educate on topics like: the reduction of the CO2 emissions, the use of the public transportation or sharing a car, for example: going to the special tests or time controls during the ISDE in the same car.

The spectators feel invited to contribute to all this atmosphere of sustainability when they find enough and proper facilities such as waste containers or they contribute in those events where recycling or composting is required. Sustainable events increase the environmental values of the spectators and they are open to contributing.

The contribution of all sectors is required, organisers, sports federation, riders, teams nevertheless the fans must return to home inspired!
Join us and lead by example, join the conversation #kiSSNavarra

Remember always ride green!
