It was an historic day for the well known Spanish manufacturer yesterday, when Gas Gas topped the podium in all three classes of the latest round of the 2014 FIM Trial World Championship held in La Mongie, France.
In the World Pro division Adam Raga – Gas Gas continued his French love affair as he recorded yet another victory in his country of choice. Raga defeated series leader Toni Bou – Repsol Honda by the merest of margins and in doing so extended his record to ten wins at the French GP, his first coming way back in 2004.
In the FIM Trial World Cup category, it was recently turned sixteen year old Arnau Farre – Gas Gas who was very much the surprise winner. The teenager from Spain’s previous best result was seventh at the British GP prior to his hard fought win on French soil.
Finally in the FIM 125 Trial Cup Teo Colairo – Gas Gas took full advantage of competing in front of his home fans as he recorded his first win of the season to cement his runners up placing in the general standings with one round still remaining.
All three winners will now be able to savour their success over the next month before the FIM Trial World Championship resumes after its traditional summer break at the final round in Spain come early September.
