Women are racing in Slovakian track Senkvice for second time. The weather prepared for them tough conditions. Dryness and warm heat were too difficult, but WMX girls are very skilled and hard track did not mean problem for them. Chiara Fontanesi is for this year favourite without serious rivalry. Chiara showed to Slovak spectators her self-confident ride, nice jumps and very fast times. Thanks to this she grabbed victory in Qualifying race. Very fast Anne Borchers was defending second place right behind Chiara.
The weather was not friendly. Sky without clouds, tropical temperatures, hard surface on a track made today´s races more interesting and this all complicated way for first place. This season belongs to only one rider – Chiara Fontanesi. Chiara dominated also in today´s race just right from the start. She took holeshot and first place was only for Italian Chiara.
Natalie Kane seemed from the start very fast and maybe she was able to catch Chiara. Unfortunately in second lap Natalie had to ride inside pit-lane to eliminate little failure. She rode back into race, but she obtained back positions.
Just behind Natalie was riding German Anne Borchers. When Natalie went out, Anne caught opportunity and she got second place. Anne knew, that Chiara was too fast to overtake her, so for this reason Anne only controlled her second position. Gap between her and Chiara was 14 secs.
Anne Borchers: „It wasn´t easy to ride today. It was too hot and dusty. First laps you can push very hard, but in the end was race too hard, dusty and in some places also slippery. I had a good start and it helps me to be on top. For tommorow? I think that result in top five will be very good and satisfied for me.“
Justine Charroux from France gets right tempo. She was riding very well on last races and in overall championship standings she moved to front positions. Today she was very close to Anne Borchers and she was trying to take Anne over. In the end Justine obtained third position in Qualifying race.
Suisse rider Virginie Germond had a nice start. She got close to top three and Virginie was attacking positions in front of her. She trying to moved on Justine´s position, but she was unsuccessful. Virginie obtained fourth position with her Suzuki and she was slower only one second than Justine Charroux.
Fracy Racing Team rider Francesca Nocera was motivated for today´s qualifying. Furthermore her start looked nice and she could ride on top positions. Francesca was moving to the top and she made a nice gap. But she was slower than first four riders, so she obtained fifth position.
On the other hand, Britt van der Wekken had a very bad start. Britt is skillfull rider and she pushed harder for better position. In the end she was sixth. Her compatriot Marianne Veenstra was riding during the qualifying behind her and nothing changed until the end. Marianne was in the finish line seventh.
Suprisly nice ride showed to everybody Czech rider Jana Antosova. Jana was fast, she was riding without mistakes and she finished only three seconds behind Marianne Veenstra. Jana Antosova obtained eighth place. For this time top ten riders closed Dutch rider Kimberley Braam and German rider Selina Schittenhelm.
