Jorge Casales (Gas Gas), 17, who currently heads the 2013 FIM Junior Trial World Cup standings is tipped by many as a World Champion of the future and perhaps the most likely to take over from reigning champion Toni Bou - Repsol Montesa in years to come.
Casales made his debut on the World stage last year and scored a top ten placing at his first-ever Grand Prix. Since then Jorge has followed up his initial eighth position with a series of results and a podium spot at his home GP later in the year to reinforce the faith that some pundits have put in him.
The 2013 FIM Trial World Championship could not have started better for the young Gas Gas rider as he scored his win on the opening day of the series in Japan. Although Casales then had to concede ground to his main rival Jack Sheppard - Beta in the USA, back to back wins for Jorge in Andorra have now put him in charge of the Junior title race as he prepares to do battle at his second ever home GP. Spain's future hope will be aiming for another victory today as an early present for his eighteenth birthday, which he will celebrate next month.
