Quentin Carles de Caudemberg – Beta tops the FIM Trial World Cup general standings ahead of today’s encounter in the hills above Sant Julia de Loria, Andorra. The twenty-year-old French rider was a double winner last weekend at his home GP and will be hoping to repeat the same this time out as he looks to further stretch his advantage at the head of this closely fought title race.
Winner of the 2013 FIM Youth Trial World Cup, Carles de Caudemberg placed third overall in his first season in the FIM Trial World Cup last year. 2015 has already seen four different winners in this fiercely contested division. Quentin holds the most wins to date this season with four in total – two in the Czech Republic and two more in France last weekend. In addition to his four victories the French Beta rider has only failed to be placed inside the top five on three occasions over the ten counting days thus far.
With any of the current top ten in the 2015 FIM Trial World Cup general standings capable of winning on their day, it just could be Quentin’s consistency over his rivals that will lead him to his second title in three years come the close of this campaign.
